The self-taught pianist was responsible for writing a significant number of Pink Floyd’s classic albums including the final studio album The Division Bell. He met fellow band members Roger Walters and Nick mason at the Regent Street Polytechnic College of Architecture, and he became a prominent force behind the bands unique sound.
