The BBC soap drama EastEnders won the battle of the tv ratings for Christmas day pulling in 10.9m viewers on average, according to figures from Barb.The audience research body also said the BBC shows took nine of the 10 most watched programmes overallwith only Coronation Street Itv’s soap making the top ten.
