Hi there, Seventeen readers! Lily from Style Council here with one more favorite school outfit. I like a lot of different
styles and looks. It’s no fun for me to try to dress for just one
label! I can dress kind of “grunge” and “edgy” but there’s a big part
of me that loves cute and classic vintage looks. I love full A-line
circle skirts, Peter Pan collars, flouncy blouses, and bows on my
shoes/shirts/earrings. I found this blouse from the 80’s at a vintage
store. It’s really the perfect blouse for tucking into high-waisted
skirts, shorts, and pants. I chose this super full denim circle skirt because it’s a really fun piece. It’s very girly and
doll-like. This outfit would be great for my sewing class, flats like
the ones I’m wearing in the photo are best for the pedal of the sewing
machines and the skirt won’t get wrinkled from sitting all day. I
always try to pull together fun, cute, creative, and practical, looks
for school. You can have a great time doing your back-to-school shopping and mixing the pieces you find in surprising and unique ways.
I hope you have an amazing first day of school. It will be a great
day!

This
look was inspired by my school’s dress code. We have to wear dress
pants, but sometimes I can find them in fun colors that bend the rules a
little bit. The lacy shirt adds a bit of edge that I love! I would wear
this to school because it’s both trendy and conservative.
Keep coming back for more back-to-school style from the Style Council ladies!

Hey there, Seventeen readers. It’s me, Style Council Chelsea, bringing you all my favorite back-to-school looks!
For a
more edgy look this fall, try rockin’ a graphic tee, like this one I got from
H&M, or a Forever 21 fedora, which comes in handy for back-to-school when
I’m having an extreme case of the bedhead! I’m still not ready to part with my
leggings just yet — they’re just so comfortable — so I paired them with this
tee, black bow belt, and some Rue 21 black stilettos.
