I
would probably wear this outfit on a rainy day because it is really
casual, but still cute. I paired my H&M sleeveless top with Zara
high-waisted joggers,(which are my version of sweatpants,) with my
Jeffrey Campbell Woodies. For a pop of color, I added red lipstick which instantly glams up any outfit, along with a floral printed scarf. This look is effortless, yet still so put together.

I was inspired by Beyonce in her “Why Don’t You Love Me” video in this look. The Cheap Monday
high-waisted jeans are so retro, so I decided to give this outfit a
grungy feel in a more polished way. I paired it with a cropped top,
turband and my favorite shoes for the summer, Litas! Pair that with a
leopard printed Aldo bag and you’ll be guaranteed to turn heads this fall.

Hello Seventeen Readers, it’s
Kyrstin Himes from Style Council 2011! As someone who has already been
through the rough four years of high school and another four in college, I have
come out know some very important things when it goes to dressing for school.

School is where you find yourself and
become the person you love.  Through
its up’s and downs, it’s the perfect time to experiment with clothes and style.
Growing up, I have had my rough moments in fashion, but that is exactly how you
learn about style and developing your image or persona. This is my first outfit
for the Style Council back-to-school calendar. I really love this outfit
because I feel like it expresses my creativity, yet it is simple and chic. I
first put on the royal blue pleated maxi skirt from American Apparel.
 It is long, so it’s comfortable
sitting in a chair all day. It will also make you stand out in the hallway! I
then paired it with this nude American Apparel crop top. The skirt is such a one-of-a-kind piece that I really wanted to keep
it easy on the top. A cute pair of nude wedges topped off the look, along with
my favorite accessories!
