The bubbly rising star was recently selected as the face of Oral-B’s new tooth-care line, aptly titled “For Me”–the first and only line of oral-care products designed specifically for tweens. “Even the toothbrush’s size is designed specifically for our palates,” Alyson said excitedly.

Of course, tooth care is something we in the beauty department take very seriously, and we are well aware of the alarming statistics surrounding youth and dental hygiene. “It’s great because Alyson is excited to brush her teeth,” her mom, LuAnne, revealed. “She carries her toothbrush in her purse!”

Last Friday I set out to interview renowned brow guru Anastasia. Before taking a seat to chat, she put a friendly hand on my back and guided me to her chair–I was a few weeks behind on having my brows shaped, and I guess she felt it was her beauty duty to clean me up. And I’m beyond glad she did! As she tweezed my super-unruly brows, we chatted about her experience (she has an art background, which is no surprise since she uses brow shaping to create her clients’ perfect face) and her theory on shape.
