HOMETOWN: Florida

WHAT SHE’S WEARING: “A 3.1 Phillip Lim blazer over an A.P.C. striped tee, Rock & Republic legging jeans, and Giuseppe Zanotti heeled booties. I’m always one of the tallest girls in school because I have heels on all the time.”

RETRO ACTIVE: “Mount Dora, Florida–where I live–is a historic town, so it’s kind of touristy. But it also has great vintage shopping. My closet is filled with finds like a leather vest and a faded denim jumper. Other kids here wear jeans and T-shirts, but I like to push the limits more.”

EMPIRE STATE OF MIND: “It was late at night when I found out I’d won the Snapshot contest, and my mom and I started jumping around, screaming. My dad was like, ‘What’s going on?’ Since we got to New York for the shoot, I’ve bought a pair of men’s style shoes and a plaid dress, and I’m still on the lookout for a high-waisted, poufy skirt. This is my first trip to Manhattan, but I hope it’s the first of many. People here really own their style.”

NOW AND THEN: “I wear lots of old jewelry, especially pieces belonging to my grandparents, like a pocket watch I made into a necklace. I also inherited a box of vintage hats from my great-grandmother that I wear constantly, including cloches with big bows. I just love twenties fashion, and musicals like Guys and Dolls and Singin’ in the Rain are so inspiring to me. My modern-day role model would have to be Blake Lively, though.”
