A few weeks ago, my buddy Tina Turnbow did my makeup for a black tie event,
and I (as usual) was lamenting how hard it is to find a powder that matches
my skintone. Lo and behold, she emailed me today to tell me she found the
perfect shade for me from La Mer’s Powder Foundation line! Of COURSE it had
to be pricey La Mer… But you know what? It’s worth it! Visit
cremedelamer.com to see all the shades they offer…

I thought that, by now, I’d be so over the sparkly sequin trend… I already have a Zara blazer (which gets raves–and was on Gossip Girl!), Marc by Marc cardigan, Nanette Lepore dress… The list goes on! But I just may have to add this La Rok skirt to my collection. I think it’d be great for New Years and I’d style it exactly as it’s picture–with a baggy tank and a boyfriend blazer! Visit PinkMascara.com to buy it–I am!

Lately, I’ve had a more-is-more mindset with my jewelry. I’ve been piling it on!! I’ve especially been liking jewelry that’s earthy–rough hewn crystals, organic shapes, and the like! I’ve had my eye on this Jules gold-dipped shark-tooth for a while. I think it might be a perfect addition to my collection of necklaces. Are you reading this, Secret Santa? I hope so!
Buy it at Shopjules.com!

So… I have the worst, worst luck with cameras. For real. Like, my camera that I’ve been using is just a year old, but it barely works anymore. I think it’s because I take SO many pictures. So I’ve been on the lookout for a cool new camera and came upon one from Nikon that not only looks pretty (gold! leatherette finish!) but has amazing functions too: HD Video, 12.1 megapixels, a huge 3.5 inch touchscreen… And of course, it’s like the most expensive one out there ($400). If any of you guys have major huge piggy banks… Def splurge on the Nikon S70! Visit NikonUsa.com for more info…

Part Elf, part man but all hero, Aragorn easily stood out as the man with a plan when the first Lord of The Rings film sent people aghast when it came out.
The sheer definition of rugged, Aragorn simply dealt with anything thrown at him be it orc or ghost, despite clearly needing a shave.
Brought to life by unknown New York born actor Viggo Morte…
