Winter Skin Tips from Hasblady Guzman!

winter-model.gifI don’t know about you guys, but my hair, skin, nails, EVERYTHING tends to freak out right around now–the change of season. With that in mind, I recently picked the brain of Hasblady Guzman, who owns Bokaos, a green spa and salon in Los Angeles. Here, her tips for a seamless transition to winter:A
1) For fall, the best everyday look is a simple ponytail. Keep it clean and fresh!
2)There’s nothing like a smooth blow-out. Who has time, though? Aveda’s Smooth Infusion cuts the blow dry time in half and it doesn’t make hair greasy or heavy.
3) One of my favorite trends for fall is the faux fur headband. A So cute!
4) My favorite party look is a 1940’s look — it’s Veronica Lake meets Jessica Rabbit.
5) Young skin needs to be soothed and relieved. Aveda’s Outer
Peace Cooling Masque is a must if you want to soothe skin that tends to
have blemishes. It contains aloe, fruit and algae extracts that nourish skin, while
its natural green color balances out unwanted red tones in skin.
6) Be careful not to take too much off the eyebrows — go gentle to keep a natural look.

Seriously Obsessed: GLEE!

glee-bag.gifAnyone else out there (besides, like, the whole Teen Vogue staff) watching Glee? As Joey Tribiani from Friends might say, “High school? Good. Crazy teachers? Good! Singing? Good!!!!!” I love everything about it! Especially Lea Michele, who not only makes me laugh every episode (she reminds me of girls I went to high school with) but also has the best voice ever. I hope her star keeps rising–which I think it is because now I constantly get emails about “Get Lea’s look!”… Including one about this killer bag she was sporting in LA. Well, I did my homework–the bag is from Tylie Malibu! I adore it and may pick up a similar one in navy! Visit tyliemalibu.com for more info!

Lady Gaga’s New Single Bad Romance - What Do YOU Think?

Lady Gaga isn’t exactly famed for her ‘safe’ song choices, and this new track, Bad Romance doesn’t seem to be any different.

Whilst we do get to hear a bit more of GaGa’s epic voice, I’ve got to admit, I wasn’t convinced from the get-go as it sounds scarily like a Spanish folk song you’d leap around …
