Did anyone else see any of the pro football games on Sunday? All the players were wearing pink shoes and sweatbands! All the towels were pink, and all the coaches had pink bills on their hats — all in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. This month, the NFL and to see those enormous players wearing pink out on the field! Their campaign is called A Crucial Catch ( http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d812e36ef&template=with-video&confirm=true), and all month long the pink gear donned by players and coaches will be auctioned off to benefit the American Cancer Society.A

Everyone, it seems, has gone pink. Including Gillette’s Venus razor! Join their Facebook page and Venus Embrace will donate $1 for breast cancer research. Feeling generous? For every dollar you donate, Venus Embrace will match that donation! They’ve also made a special, limited edition
Pink Venus Embrace ($10 at CVS), and proceeds from each razor go towards early detection education and finding a cure. Keep your eyes peeled this month for even more “Pink” products, and more pink out on the field!

Stockholm-chic Acne (who has a asymmetrical mini skirt I’m lusting for on net-a-porter.com… But that’s a whole other story) recently moved offices and to celebrate their move, they commissioned a stunningly cool and deliciously scented candle from Byredo! It’s a warm, earthy mix of cedar, pepper, and incense. Very chic and unexpected–just like Acne! Buy it at Barneys or Acne Studios!

Hayden Panettiere
Neutrogena had a rockin’ party this weekend in LA (more on that later from our gal in LA, Aya Kanai), which was attend with a cavalcade of young celebs. And word on the street is that Neutrogena girl Hayden was looking especially fresh. Since I know you guys always love step-by-step ‘get the looks’… Here’s the scoop on Hayden!
“We’re used to seeing Hayden rock the red carpet, but, for the Fresh Faces of Music Event in Los Angeles, I wanted to give her a pumped-up version of the natural, no makeup-makeup look she favors for more casual events,” says makeup artist Amy Oresman. “Working in television and movies means that Hayden’s in full makeup all day, therefore she takes extra care to deep cleanse her skin at the end of the day. Her choice is Neutrogena’s Wave Duo Power-Cleanser, a hand-held and battery-powered cleansing device that’s even better than manual cleansing. Also, it leave her skin super soft so makeup glides on beautifully. Hayden’s skin can be prone to breakouts so I choose SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup in Nude 40. The formula contains salicylic acid so it helps prevent future breakouts as you wear it. For a sun-kissed day-time glow I dusted Healthy Skin Blends in Sunkissed across Hayden’s cheekbones, forehead, and chin. Next I added a pop of girly pink to the apples of her cheeks with Healthy Skin Blends in Fresh which complimented her golden locks beautifully.
To highlight the gold flecks in Hayden’s eyes and give them an extra sparkle I used the Nourishing Eye Quad in Copper Glow; its natural, understated shades are perfect for daytime wear. I covered Hayden’s entire lid with the base color and swept the highlighter shade just beneath her brow. Next I gently traced the Nourishing Eyeliner in Plum Drop onto Hayden’s upper and lower lash line, taking special care to smudge it. I finished the look with Neutrogena Healthy Volume Waterproof Mascara in Carbon Black. My favorite trick for applying mascara is to coat lashes on one eye and then move on to the second. For the thickest glossies lashes let each coat dry for about 20 seconds between applications. To complete Hayden’s s look, I used Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick Angel’s Blush. With an SPF of 20 it’s perfect for outdoor events!”
