Acne Action Hero AnnaLynne McCord!

Acne Action Hero AnnaLynne McCord!

annalynne-acne-img.jpgRecently, I had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous (and hilarious) AnnaLynne McCord as she prepped for an Acne Action Plan appearance at NYC’s Time Warner Center. The Acne Action Plan is a totally fantastic tool that helps you tailor an acne fighting plan, so you can go fresh faced to a big event - school photos, prom, you name it!  While AnnaLynne plays the princess of Beverly Hills, Naomi Clark, to perfection, this Georgia native is nothing like her character!

What is your daily skincare routine?
First, I use a Dermalogica cleanser, which is a specific skin-clearing wash. Then, I use a great hydrating toner. I always moisturize twice daily, and follow it all up with BenzaClin as a spot treatment before I go to bed.

What about when you get a pimple? What do you think works best?
Nothing has ever worked like BenzaClin - honestly, it’s amazing! Sometimes your derm will say to use it all over your face, but I just use it as a spot treatment before bed.

How did you first get involved with the Acne Action Plan?
Well, I was thrilled to finally find something that worked on my skin! I was always super cynical about acne products, so when I found BenzaClin I wanted to tell the world! The Acne Action Plan is a great way for me to reach out to my fans, and show them something that works, and also let them know that I’m human too, and I have flaws, and it’s okay. I’d been fighting acne forever! I just wanted to connect with my fans and thank them for their support, but also show them something that can help them too.

Aside from 90210 and the Acne Action Plan, what other projects are you working on these days?
Well, right now I’m locked down for the next 9 months with 90210, but I’ve got a film project kind of in the works for the 90210 filming hiatus… I don’t want to say too much, but it would be a very kick butt role! If everything works out it would be so much fun, and so different, think motorcycles and kicking butt! I’d need to start martial arts training, which would be sooo cool…

Do I detect a hint of tomboy?
I’m kind of a BIG tomboy! I’ve really had to come around to my girly side to play Naomi. I’d much rather be out at, like, a gun range than a spa! I actually just got some pellet guns and I set up some targets in my backyard - I’m a surprisingly good shot! So… yeah, that would be the ultimate role for me!
