After many years of diligent body scrubbing, I consider myself to be quite the body scrub connoisseur today. Thoughts: I loved this stuff! The deep black goo glides on easily and best of all is water-resistant and smudge-free. It’s super natural looking, not at all like you’ve shellacked your lashes with paint! And while it doesn’t claim to curl your lashes, I swear I saw mine perk up a little as soon as I brushed it on. A definite plus! The brush itself, called the “Petit Giant Brush” by Laura Mercier, is just that–the bristles are short and kind of stiff, but spaced just right to grab and elongate each individual lash–little brush, long lashes. It even worked on my lower lashes, and didn’t make my baby-fringe look “done.” No complaints here in terms of wear, my eyelashes looked flirty all day, but I will say that it took a little extra effort to remove.
Best for: Someone who wants their eyes to pop, without looking like they put in a lot of effort, but maybe not for someone with super short lashes, since the fiber-free formula doesn’t add length.
