Target Adds News Designers to Prestige Beauty Collection!

Hot summer months call for effortless glamour! That’s why Target.com and Target stores across the US are now selling products by Pixi, JK
Jemma Kidd
, and NP Set. Their products are easy to apply and won’t cost you a fortune!

Pixi Beauty Products is a designer collection of “Makeup to Wakeup” essentials created by
Swedish makeup artist Petra Strand. The Pixi philosophy is to create a
healthy, fresh, and radiant look — as though you’ve just gotten a
relaxing tweleve hours of sleep! The price tags on Pixi products
(including eye beauty kits, duo cheek cremes, and lip palettes; shown
right) range from $12 to $39.

You can also find catwalk-inspired products by JK Jenna Kidd in the beauty aisles of Target or on Target.com. Makeup artist and
former model Jemma Kidd’s goal was to put runway looks within your reach! She’s most well-known for palettes that can fit in the palm of
your hand, like her Fashion Junkie Eye Palette ($28) and Fashion Junkie
Lip Palette ($28).

And last but not least, check out NP Set, designed by celeb makeup artist Napoleon Perdis (his fans include Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff, who were both Seventeen cover girls!). His line features multi-use eye palettes ($29 each;
shown top left), pore perfecting pre-foundation ($26), and bronzing
pre-foundation primer ($29). So, our advice? Stop by your nearest
Target store or visit Target.com to pick up all your summer beauty
essentials — without spending all your hard-earned summer cash!

Curly Girly Blog: A Cut Above!

YeseniaCutting curly hair is nothing like cutting straight hair — curly
hair needs a lot of shape or it can take on a triangular shape.  Here,
some tips before you make your next salon appointment:Curly Girly Logo

•Have
your stylist cut your hair when it is dry — curly hair is different
when it’s wet versus when it’s dry. Once dry, curly hair expands and
gets shorter.

•Go for layers: Layers can eliminate bulk in curly
hair. Avoid blunt cuts, which only make your curls expand more (not
pretty on a hot, humid day!).

•Stay away from a stylist who says
he wants to razor-cut your curls—it will only cause your ends to look
frayed and it will make your curls frizzier!

•Curly hair looks
best when it’s long-ish: Curls need length to weigh them down and going
too short will only make your hair pouf! Keep your hair shoulder-length
or longer.
