As someone who changes their nail polish on a daily basis, I am always on the lookout for new exciting colors. Luckily, OPI is about to launch the OPI Matte Collection this July, which features six of the most popular shades:  Russian Navy, Lincoln Park After Dark, You Don’t Know Jacques!, Alpine Snow, La Paz-Itively Hot, and Gargantuan Green Grape, but with a matte finish. I recently tested out the Gargantuan Green Grape, which is still on my nails now, and I love it! The finish doesn’t last as long, but for someone who likes to constantly change their nails it’s not a problem. Another tip would be to use the same color in a glossy finish and use the matte as a top coat, or vice versa! My Lash Type: Long, slight curl, sparse

Thoughts: I experienced ZERO clumps with La Prairie Cellular Treatment Mascara! Each lash stood out on its own looking slightly darker, longer, and fancier than usual.  I looked wide awake, but still subtle–nothing “Look At Me!” here, which makes this a great every-day product. In terms of lasting power, it made it through a full day at work, a brief walk in the rain, a muggy concert in Central Park, and dinner with friends without casting a flaky ring under my eyes or smearing at all. Pretty good! While the effects were not dramatic, I was definitely satisfied, and the promise of intense conditioners only makes me want to keep using it! The only drawback? At $40 a tube it’s a little pricey, and while it really defined my lashes, it didn’t curl. But if mascara is your thing, and you’re willing to splurge a little, this is definitely a great option!
