I vividly recall the first time I ever did a wheatgrass shot (you know me, I’m super into health food!). I was at a local juicebar and ordered up a shot and downed it with bravado–only to nearly yak all over myself. Blech! It did NOT taste good.  But you know what does–and has all the green goodness–is Naked Juices Green Machine drink. I recently tried the drink for the first time–it’s packed with good-for-you stuff like ginger, garlic, spirulina, and algae (yes, algae)–and fully expected it to taste crazy. But it was delish (tastes like apples and kiwis) and it totally boosted my energy! Hurrah for Green Machine!

Hurrah, I love July 4th! Not only because I’m a patriot… But also because of the delicious food (I’m having a BBQ, yay), fireworks, and the excuse to wear red, white, and blue all at once (well, maybe not all at once). Bath & Body Works seem to be getting into the spirit of things this season too, with American Grown, a new collection of hand washes and shower gels inspired by American destinations. My favorite is Savannah Mint, which smells like  refreshing pepperminty goodness. Check it out at a BBW store near you!

Before I called in this mascara to try (it’s one of model Miranda Kerr’s favorites!), I did a little internet sleuthing/research on ModelCo’s Fiber Lash. Naturally, my curiosity was piqued when I saw that it was sold out! Is it really such a hot commodity that it warrants an one month wait? Read on…

Thoughts: This mascara comes with two tubes–one that’s a tube of super lightweight mascara and a separate tube of fluffy fibers that add length of lashes. First, you brush on a coat of the mascara (I think it works as a glue of sorts!), then you brush on the fibers, then you go back and brush on another coat of mascara. The end result? SUPER-long lashes that look really natural! I was really pleased with the results. These don’t look like fake lashes at all, they look like my lashes–just about 20 percent longer. Hurrah!
Best for: any kind of lashes, but girls with bangs beware! Move them out of the way before applying the fibers, otherwise your bangs will catch on the fibers.
