If you have frizzy curly hair like me, then Remington’s Shine Therapy flat iron is just what you need. After walking home in a torrential downpour last night, my hair turned into a frizzy wet mess! When I got home I tried to rescue my hair for the night and tried the flat iron, which has avocado oil and conditioners infused in the plates. The flat iron heats up really quickly and straightened my hair in nearly 10 minutes. I couldn’t believe the transformation. My hair was completely straight and shiny in a matter of minutes. And the best part, you can buy it for only $49.99 at remington-store.com!

A certain friend of mine–S, you know who you are if you’re reading this!–sweats a lot. Like, a LOT. When she sweats, it’s not “glowing” or even “perspiring”. It’s dripping. Rivers of sweat! Okay, I’ll give my hyperboles a rest. Anyway, she was asking me the other day about the difference between regular antiperspirants and all the new clinical anti-p’s on the market. Basically, my dear S, the levels of active ingredients (for most, it’s an aluminum compound, like Aluminum Chlorohydrate) are upped in the clinical formulas, so you’re protected for longer!
PS: I recently gifted her with Ban’s new Clinical Roll-On. Who doesn’t love a smooth and roll-y roll-on?

Add this to the category of far-fetched product claims that are actually true: Blinc’s run-proof, smudge-proof, flake-proof, water-resistant mascara. Rather than coat your lashes with a thick layer of paint, this wonder-formula creates tiny water resistant “tubes” around your eyelashes. Having tried about a billion mascaras all promising miracles, I was skeptical. But surprise, surprise, Blinc delivered. My lashes look fresh and glossy all day, even making it through a hot-yoga class. And at night, with a little warm water and some gentle pressure, the “tubes” slide right off. Amazing!

Rafi
Anteby, creator of Bullets 4 Peace, takes used bullet castings and
creates edgy, unique jewelry. This not only prevents the
materials from
being made into more bullets for use in combat or street violence, but
sales will be used to raise money for different charities.
The
journey that lead Rafi to create Bullets 4 Peace started in Israel,
where he served for 4 years and was deeply affected by the violence
that surrounded him. After his tour of duty, Rafi moved to China where
he lived as a monk. Inspired to give back and apply his spiritual
growth, he turned to making pendants that give new life to bullets, that
otherwise bring so much pain into the world. Bullets 4 Peace has caught
the attention of many of celebs, like Justin Timberlake, Audrina
Patridge, Kanye West, David Archuleta, and Jessica Biel, just to name
a few! Check the charities and pick up a pendant at www.bullets4peace.com.

I went to the Whitney Art party last week sponsored by BCBG/Max Azria. Here is a pic of me and the girls from Carolina Herrera. I went with my own outfit, but wanted some great shoes so I borrowed these AMAZING Swarovski studded Giuseppe Zanotti heels. They kind of remind me of something out of the Batman/Catwoman cartoons. As I was walking out of the party, a photographer asked if he could take a pic? “Read more” to see the pic!
