Fun!!

When I was in high school, every few weeks my girlfriend and I would take a trip to “Neutrogena Island,” which meant we’d have a sunless tanner party during study hours in our dorm. We may not have always finished our homework, but we got the application down to a streak-free science! So now, it’s time for me to re-live my high school glory and test some of the most fun bronzers out there! This week, I got my hands on Lindsay Lohan’s Sevin Nyne spray. In light of her recent troubles I thought I would honor one of the more positive things she’s done recently. Though going by her oompa-loompa hue and kind of loca eHarmony spoof, I was nervous. But I’m totally happy to say, it actually works! The eco-friendly aerosol releases a super fine mist, and immediately gives your skin some color so you can see where you’ve already sprayed. Major points for ease of application! As the color develops it looks pretty natural, though not as dark as cream formulas. Finally, points again for the smell. It has a coconut-y scent, rather than the intense chemical aroma of formulas of yore, which would grow stronger by the minute. All around, I think this stuff is pretty awesome, and will be hard to beat.

By now it seems that everyone has heard of A??ai–the “super fruit” from Brazil that packs 500% more antioxidants than blueberries and helps support your immune system, increases energy, fights aging, and helps keep your heart healthy. No kidding about the super fruit title! As this little berry gains acceptance stateside, other “super fruits” are starting to emerge. Zola, the first US company to make A??ai juices (and who employ completely sustainable farming methods (yay!)), recently came out with a line of Superfruit Smoothies, which feature exotic fruits like Acerola, Graviola, Capuacu, and Camu Camu.
