AnnaLynne McCord has dreamt of being an actress since she was a little girl and her dreams have come true with a starring role in the revival of 90210! This homeschooled, self proclaimed “math nerd-turned-rocker-chick” has already made quite a splash in Hollywood, having appeared in shows like Nip/Tuck, The O.C., and Ugly Betty. Here, Beverly Hills’s Naomi shares her beauty secrets and the sweet treat she can’t resist!

1. How did you get started as an actress?
I knew I wanted to be an actress when I was 9 years old. I moved to New York when I was 15 and later moved to Los Angeles. I’ve been here three years and the work has finally paid off.

2. Is this what you always wanted to do or did you want to be something else when you were a little kid?
I always wanted to be an actress. I couldn’t imagine being anything else.

3.  Did all the hype surrounding 90210 make you nervous going in? How much do you draw from the original?
It didn’t make me nervous; I was actually very excited about it! I decided not to watch the original 90210 because I really wanted to make Naomi her own character. And it has also brought so much attention to the organization I work with called The Blind Project, which brings awareness and deals with sex trafficking. So it has all been very good.

4.  How have things changed for you since 90210?
I’ve been super busy! It’s been really great though!

5. How is your personal style different from your characters?
My style is a little more rocker badass chick, while Naomi’s is more preppy.

When I read the e-mail describing the next Style Council blog
assignment, I was psyched! The super blog-reader that I am kicked in to
high gear and began searching for the chicest outfit possible to try
and emulate. It was so hard to narrow it down, then this picture of
Vanessa Hudgens landed on my screen. This isn’t usually my look, but
after being in California twice this
month, I was suddenly attracted to it. Every edgy glam girl needs a day
off from being super fabulous, and this outfit is an answer for edgy glam
girls everywhere.

The outfit is really simple, but still makes
a statement and will have fashionista heads turning when you walk by.

A good friend of mine, let’s call her Ashley, recently emailed me for help with her acne. She was, to put it mildly, MISERABLE. And I really feel for her–as I’m sure all of you do.
