Stay Safe With These Eye Makeup Tips…

moscot-eye-gl-img.jpgThere’s an amazing eyeglasses store around the corner from my apartment in NYC’s Union Square called Moscot… I love going into the store some weekends just to try on their amazing selection of vintage, plastic-framed glasses (I heard the costume designer of Mad Men picks up the characters’ glasses here!). I recently scored some tips from THE Dr. Harvey Moscot of Moscot Eyewear. Read on for his advice!

Seventeen Interviews Tommy Hilfiger!

Seventeen recently got the chance to meet famous American designer Tommy Hilfiger
and ask him a few questions. Turns out Tommy never went to school to
become a fashion designer — he taught himself everything he knows, and
opened his own clothing shop called “People’s Place” while he was still
in high school! Here’s a little more about the icon….

Seventeen: What were you like when you were 17, and where
did you get your inspiration from when you first began designing for
your own shop, People’s Place?

Style Council: Remy’s Fashion Find of the Week!

Having been in California for the past week, I’ve done the the majority of my shopping online. One of my favorite designers
is Charlotte Ronson. After going to her show for fall ‘09, I was hooked.
I did my research and she did a line called I HEART RONSON, which is a
capsule collection for JCPenney. I knew what this meant: cute stuff at
great prices! I found a very girly floral dress for spring, which I plan to wear now with tights, and then with a
leather jacket when it gets warmer. The dress is $29.99. Hello, steal!

My Run with Under Armour!

ua-Womens-Illusion.jpgEveryone from professional sports figures to the girl on the treadmill next to you can agree on one thing: Under Armour makes some of the best active wear on the market. The light fabrics used for their clothes make almost any kind of activity enjoyable. That’s why I was so excited to test their new line of sneakers. If they were even half as comfortable as the clothing, it would be a great run! Lucky for me, they completely lived up to the Under Armour reputation! The first mile flew by as the heavily-cushioned soles swiftly brought my feet into the second mile. As those who run competitively will tell you, it is important to change sneakers every few months, as a safety precaution. I’m still loving my cute, pink pair, but they certainly won’t be the last ones I own! Women’s UA Revenant, $120. underarmour.com
