With spring and summer finally around the corner, it’s time to start bulking up that daily SPF. At the risk of sounding like your mother I’ll spare you my lecture on the importance of wearing sunscreen. But did you know that you can increase your sun protection by eating certain foods? According to Lisa Drayer, nutritionist and author of The Beauty Diet, foods that contain dietary carotenoids, such as watermelon, cantaloupe, carrots and mangoes, help to decrease redness in skin when exposed to ultraviolet light. Neat, right? Turns out, there are several wonder-foods for getting gorgeous skin. Try walnuts and salmon to keep your skin hydrated, and antioxidant rich blueberries and dark chocolate to protect against aging. Check out The Beauty Diet for other tips and recipes to eat your way towards glowing skin, whiter teeth, shinier hair, brighter eyes and stronger nails.

Hey, girls, here’s my fashion find of the week! I found this great little tunic when I was shopping at Target! I have
already worn it twice and differently. The first time after buying it I paired it with my tight skinny-legged, medium-wash jeans and some great gold jewelry, along with the heels you see here, which are also from Target.
At first I was hesitant to buy the shirt because it looked shapeless on the hanger, but I knew that since it had a tie it would create a nice shape and a waist. I love this new find because it’s long enough to wear with leggings or jeans, and it can be dressed up and down.
