It’s
always fun to see a little hint of spring early when your battling the
winter winds of NYC! That’s exactly what put a smile on my face this
morning when I saw the Lily Pulitzer floral jeep parked outside of the
tents on my way back to the office. Sooo cute!
Can’t wait for warm weather

School
girl geek chic was the theme at Tracy Reese’s fall show - thick black
rimmed glasses, knit caps and knee socks were some of the accessories I
liked. Fall florals and long blazers were also some of the highlights!
What do you think?!

Erin Fetherston’s fall show reminded me of a Parisian Circus. Shenae
Grimes from 90210 sat across from me and seemed mesmerized by the
whimsical looks.
The models were all “dolled” up from head to
toe in girly frocks. Ruffles, bows, cropped jackets and oversized mini
skirts were the strong looks throughout this Nutcracker-inspired
collection.

Me and my stylist friend Kristin Rawson on our way to the Topshop/Topman (coming soon to the NYC in Spring of 2009!) party at Bungalow 8. We’re finally done with the shows and ready to party hop!

The theme at Miss Sixty was undoubtedly ‘80s punk. “Sheena is a Punk Rocker” by the Ramones blared while the models trotted down the runway.
Acid
wash grey denim, plaid, pattern tights and faux fur were some of the
trends. Mischa Barton and top model Coco Rocha sat across from me and
giggled at top model and friend Jessica Stam as she stomped past them.
Oversized bags and ankle boots were also a highlight of the show.

It was madness at the Betsey Johnson presentation yesterday! We could barely get inside with all the camera crews swarming aorund.
As usual, BJ cooked up a sweet little soiree with a “Betty Crocker” themed naughty and nice collection.
The models donned punk party frocks and danced as I took their pictures.

This show by far was the highlight of my week! To start off, my seat was not too far from Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and I just couldn’t help but take a pic of her infamous bob.
Justin Timberlake’s new and popular denim line was very cool with skinny skinny jeans with black leather detail, studded jackets and fringe motorcycle boots.

When fall fashion week comes around, I look forward to deep, rich makeup colors. Instead, I’m seeing a lot of no-makeup looks! Sure, there are days when a girl just needs to give her face a rest from makeup! But it’s fall fashion week and fall is fun!
I don’t want to be a hater—I love me some nude glossy lips a la J.Lo, especially in June, but by the time September rolls around I’m ready for some serious makeup colors! So there I was, sitting at the Tracy Reese show (feeling a little bit uninspired) and in walks Kim Kardashian.

Obviously when you’re going backstage to do hair and makeup interviews at the William Rast fashion
show, there’s really only one person you’re hoping to interview —
Justin Timberlake! Justin and his friend Trace Ayala founded the line,
and although I really tried to run into him, it didn’t happen, sadly.
However, I did pick up some cool tricks for how to copy the sexy, undone hair look at the show! To find out how to get the hair look and who I did see at the William Rast show, click “read more”!

Surviving
fashion week is hard enough for a girl with all of the binding clothes
and sky high heels we have to teeter around in all day. But as if it’s
not hard enough making sure you don’t kill yourself running from show
to show, on subway to subway, and cab to cab, you have to cross your
fingers, eyes, and toes, and pray that you you don’t catch the scary
winter flu and end up sick on top of it all!!!
