It’s my second day of fashion week but first day hitting the tents! Since I’ve been working at Seventeen for a few years now you start to see tons of familiar faces when you go to fashion shows. Sort of like the first day of school after a long break.

See some of the friendly faces I bumped into and wait till you see the heels from the BCBG runway. MAJOR!!!

Hey everybody! So this season’s fashion week has gotten off to a shaky start for me.

For those of you who have never been denied from a fashion show, this is what it looks like.

My last show at the tents Friday night was Nicole Miller. I took a cab over to the show with Rebecca after she stopped crying about her shut down at BCBG. Boohoo.

Let
me give you the lay of the land when I walk into a show. When you first
arrive inside the tent, you are greeted on the right by a gaggle of
photographers. This is called “the pit”. I am always in awe of how they
crowd in together-at every show, every day-without complaint. They are
responsible for taking pictures of each look for various publications.

Happy Fashion Week everyone! Yesterday I went to the Jillian Lewis
presentation. Well, this Project Runway finalist’s collection was, in the words of another Project Runway alum,
Christian Siriano- FIERCE!

Last night I went to the Victor de Souza runway show at the Plaza. My
dreams came true as I ascended the beautiful steps that our childhood
friend Eloise frolicked on. I walked right in to find that I didn’t
have a seat!! Well girls, I wouldn’t take no for an answer. I worked
my magic and ended up in the second row. This was a major score!
