You may know him as Jake Ryan on the Disney Channel hit series, Hannah Montana. Or, you may have been swept off your feet by his appearance on Dancing With the Stars. One thing’s for sure, though, Cody Linley has shared the big screen and the dance floor with many major names in showbiz. And he’s well on his way to making a name for himself!

1. You’ve already worked with many big names in showbiz. What kinds of feelings do you have when you begin working on a movie with a well-known actor?
Excitement! I learn something new every single day of my life… SO when I get the opportunity to work with an actor that inspires me it’s a blessing.

2. What was the most life-changing project you have worked on so far?
Dancing With the Stars– I never would have expected a dancing show to influence my life so much, but WOW!  It was the greatest experience of my life.

3. What’s an average day in the life of Cody Linley?
Wake up, beat box, toothbrush, O.J., out the door, top down, blasting tunes in my ride :), wipe the smile off my face, look serious, handle business! Back home, brothers, guitars, rapping, food and music.

4. How did your role as Jake Ryan on Hannah Montana change your career?
Hannah has become a phenomenon, and being along for the ride has been a fun. I’ve always wanted to be a working actor. It’s my passion and I love my job. I am thankful to God and my family for the ability to do that.

5. Will Jake Ryan make any more appearances on the show?
Yeah! Season 3 in late January on Disney Channel, check it out, it’s going to be a really fun episode!

Somehow Taylor Swift found time in her busy Billboard chart-topping schedule to design a pretty line of dresses for L.E.I. The dresses are $14 (yay for that!) and will be available at Walmart stores and on walmart.com starting mid-February.

Just back from Sundance and after recovering from the dreaded “Sundance flu” (Mucinex is the choice of champions), I’m back to my winter beauty routine. As the lowest of low-maintenance editors, I used a few basics to get me through the fest. It’s the kind of thing where you always have to be ON, and there’s no time to go home and prep for parties at night. Olay’s moisturizer with a touch of foundation was amazing–kept my skin soft and hydrated, and I glowed all day. Burt’s Bee’s lip shimmer in Fig kept my lips perfect (and the brand recently celebrated 20 years of awesomeness). Finally, my two secret ingredients–Benefit’s Hula Bronzer and the best thing, makeup-wise that has ever happened to me: Givenchy’s Phenomen’Eyes Mascara, which has a crazy applicator that looks like a mini sea anemone. Seriously the mascara/bronzer combo makes you look clean and pretty and ready to go at all times–even at the end of a 16 hour day.
