“Use a salicylic 2% acid- based cleanser such as Neutrogena Acne Wash and makeup that is specifically designed for acne/oily skin that contains 0.5%-1% salicylic acid. These will unclog pores and they have an anti-inflammatory effect.  Other makeup will make the problem worse by stimulating extra oil production. Monthly medical grade chemical peels at the dermatologist’s office will also help.”
