In recent years the musical has seen it’s popularity sore with the likes of Hairspray charming the box office and Chicago going on to win the Best Picture Oscar. And 2008 has seen this trend continue as a string of musicals have hit the big screen, enjoying a varying success.

Anastacia finds music “irritating” and has “never been moved” by a song. The ‘I’m Outta Love’ singer - who has released four studio albums - insists music does not play a big part in her life, adding she would rather sit in silence than listen to a record.

WHAT SHE’S WEARING: “I’m wearing a fur coat that I found at the local second hand shop. My mom’s boyfriends big black t-shirt, a cross I picked up in Prague and my beloved acid wash Cheap Monday jeans from Entertainment that I ripped up. I fell in love with the whole Goth-light look this season, and added in the cross to give it an edge. The fur gives it a more feminine touch.”

SHOP TALK: “Alexander McQueen and Coco Chanel are definitely my favorite designers. They’re never predictable and so inspirational.”

PICTURE THIS: “I love looking at other peoples styles from around the world in fashion blogs. I think its great to see how different people dress.”
 
CHECK MATE: “Black and plaid are definitely all over my closet at the moment. As soon as I saw plaid walking down the runways, I ran out and bought a handful! I love exaggerating plaid since its such an ‘out there’ pattern.”

CITY LIMITS: “Stockholm is my favorite place to shop. The city is full of fashionable inspirational people, little second hand shops, coffee shops, old buildings, culture and loads of offbeat, alternative clothing stores. Weekdays are one of my favorite stores in Stockholm. The first floor has lovely stuff from local designers, the second floor is a floor dedicated to Cheap Monday, and the third floor is second hand clothes. Its everything one needs in a store!”

DARK ANGEL: “This season I’ve definitely noticed that I’m wearing more grunge and Goth-inspired outfits. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with studded heels, leather pants and fur.”
 
ALL TIED UP: “I’m just waiting for tie dye to make a break through again! “

CARRY ON: “A good black handbag is timeless. It’s something you can put your money into because you know you’ll have it forever.”

PUT A LID ON IT: “Liquid eyeliner is my beauty must-have.  I feel like there’s a part of me missing when I don’t wear it!”
