Oasis’ copy coincidence

Noel Gallagher says Oasis don’t “consciously” steal music. The ‘Shock of the Lightning’ rockers have often been accused of copying acts including The Beatles and Status Quo but the guitarists insist any similarities are purely co-incidental.

AGE
: 15
HOMETOWN: Quincy, MA

WHAT SHE’S WEARING: "I am wearing a black lightweight cardigan I found in my mom’s closet, a nautical tank from Forever 21, gray jeans from Forever 21, a hand-me-down shoulder bag by Rosetti, Payless pee toes, and one of my favorite scarves stolen from my mom’s closet, most likely from Macy’s. My sunglasses were bought at the Garment District, one of my go-to thrift/consignment stores located in Cambridge."

LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS: "My favorite designers are Zac Posen, Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, and Phillip Lim. I love the femininity and silhouettes that Zac Posen creates and Alexander Wang’s use of monochrome is amazing. It’s effortlessly chic. Phillip Lim’s designs are very fresh, I like the idea of the classics mixed with the new. And Marc Jacobs makes excellent handbags. I would kill for one!"

GIRLS ON FILM: "I love spending my day looking through fashion blogs. Karla’s Closet definitely inspires me, as well as other bloggers like Wendy from Hand It Over. I also have my own blog W.W.Wardrobe, where I post my daily outfits, inspirations, and other little things that express my style and who I am!"

FAMILY AFFAIR: "My mom actually had a great sense of style back in the day. I always see these items in her closet, and I’m like, ‘where did you get that?’ I’m always attracted to the older pieces because they hold a story, which fascinates me."

PERFECT FIT: "I think my style is contemporary, classic, vintage-y, and bohemian, with a conservative flair. I love working with classic pieces, like a black blazer or the white t-shirt, and add my own personal touches."

THAT’S A WRAP: "I am obsessing over my super fringe scarf from Urban Outfitters. It goes well with any outfit, and it gives it this bohemian, earthy feel. I also can’t wait to get some fringe boots."

BACK IN BLACK: "Black blazers and black pumps are timeless. You cannot go wrong with them, and they’re here to stay! Everyone needs one in her closet. It gives endless opportunities of excellent outfits."
