Scott Bruton’s pop pledge

‘X Factor’ reject Scott Bruton has vowed to become a successful singer, despite being booted off the show on Saturday night (25.10.08). The 19-year-old was voted off by judges Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, only his mentor Simon Cowell opted to save him, after being placed in the bottom two with Daniel Evans, 38.

Mark Foster dances off

Mark Foster has become the sixth contestant to be voted off ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. The Olympic swimmer won favour with the audience and fellow contestants - who held him aloft on their shoulders following his dismissal from the BBC show - by ripping off his sequined shirt after failing to impress judges with his performance.

Uwe Boll On Postal

German born director Uwe Boll has had a tough time with critics with his latest effort of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, which starred Jason Statham, was universally panned by the critics. Spurs win first game under Harry Redknapp

Tottenham Hotspurs beat Bolton 2-0, their first game under new manager Harry Redknapp, after sacking Juande Ramos late on Saturday night. Redknapp said that Spurs agreed a compensation package of £5m with his former club Portsmouth.
