Mel’s back from her holiday and is peeved to find Teresa still living at the Mortons’. She’s also shocked to see how ill Jerry looks. Back on the street, with the wedding fund gone, an upset Molly discusses ways of downsizing her wedding plans and Jackie’s still on the scene.

Mel’s suspicious of Teresa and makes a few phone calls about the flat. She finds out Teresa’s lied and demands that Jerry choose between the two of them.

As Jerry lies unconscious on the floor, Teresa wipes her fingerprints off his tablet bottle before calling for an ambulance. At the hospital, Teresa’s feeling increasingly worried when Jerry is rushed into surgery and the family are told to prepare for the worst.
